Cydonia Has Fallen!

Mr. Bean has returned from a hard day of work as a Police officer in San Myshuno. He turns on the local news as he tries to relax and the reporter gives the most exciting news.... Cydonia Has Fallen! The world celebrates the XCom victory over the alien invaders.

Or at least that's what you would think would happen but it did not happen that way.

The truth is that yes Cydonia, the Alien base on Mars has fallen. And XCom has succeeded in ending the invasion by the many alien species that were terrorizing and threatening to take over the world. Many countries had fallen victim and signed pacts with the aliens. But this was a secret war. The incidents that took place were covered up. Leaders did not want to cause panic so they hid the truth. Some areas of the world had not been attacked yet by the aliens. The city of San Myshuno and its nearby towns, Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest, Brindleton Bay, and Windenburg went about their lives unaware that anything had happened. But they were only temporarily shielded from the unknown. As it turns out the Aliens had sent in several teams of the Sectoid race and a few of the others to begin terrorizing and infiltrating. And this is where we begin....

For those who are unaware Cydonia had an alien Brain that was able to mind control other aliens using Psionics. The Xcom force had researched Psionics and had learned to train their own team in its use. Thus they were able to not only block the mind control but also use it against their enemies. When they destroyed the Brain it ended the war. But there were still aliens on Earth. In this case our group of Sectoids were on missions. Will they continue these missions? Can they? Will XCom find the remaining Aliens and wipe them out? Will the Aliens stay on Earth in hiding? Will they learn to coexist with Humans and live in peace? This is the story of the Sectoids of San Myshuno and what happens to them after the Fall of Cydonia...
